My kids have had their ups and downs with health issues but we are always sitting in a waiting room with children with much more severe issues than mine and I remind myself how lucky we are each and every time.McKennahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09299201553545817162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-334632485304709507.post-35720219323363672512011-09-17T19:36:14.398-04:002011-09-17T19:36:14.398-04:00I broke my arm a few months ago, had to have surge...I broke my arm a few months ago, had to have surgery and am still recovering from it. Having this happen as an adult, I can't imagine putting a kid through all that. He sounds determined, though, and that's what it takes.Karen M. I love that you take the time to share your insight with the world...and tell James that someday he'll look back and be really proud of what his fingers can do. What most people just get to have as a part of their life, he had to work to get back. Next time Tough Mama is feeling badly for his pain, just remember that you also can't teach that sense of accomplishment to children, but having it is invaluable.

<3JanineAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16335483778695137064noreply@blogger.com
