Excerpts from "Lost and Found"

For some time now, I've been writing about a woman named Michaela who finds herself widowed far younger than she ever anticipated. She has a  support network of amazing friends who help her with her home and her children. Thrown into this mix is a man named Adam whom she meets very unexpectedly. The story is about her struggle to keep her family going and taking a risk on a new love.

In celebration of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) 2011, I wrote a 50,000 word novel entitled Lost and Found, telling Michaela and Adam's story. I am currently crafting those 50,000 words into a finished manuscript.
